Manicure with Gel Varnish

What it usually includes

1. Consultation & prep
Nails are checked, old polish is removed if needed, and the condition of nails and skin is assessed.

2. Nail shaping
Nails are filed and shaped to your preference (square, round, oval, etc.).

3. Cuticle care
Cuticles are softened, pushed back, and any excess removed.

4. Hand treatment
Often includes a hand soak, exfoliation (scrub), and moisturising massage.

5. Base coat application

6. Varnish application
• Normal varnish: Two coats of regular nail polish.
• Gel varnish: Gel polish applied and cured under UV/LED lamp for a long-lasting, chip-resistant finish.

7. Top coat
Applied to seal and protect the varnish.

Normal vs Gel Varnish

Normal varnish: Dries naturally, lasts 3–7 days, easy to remove with standard remover.
Gel varnish: Long-lasting (2–4 weeks), chip-resistant, requires UV/LED lamp to set, removed by soaking in acetone or professional removal.
